STORIES TO LEAD THE WAY: A PATH TO BUILDING CHARACTER
Grades K-12
This program is designed to promote awareness of positive character traits. This awareness is the first step to changing behavior and is accomplished through experiencing these traits in story form. Listeners are encouraged to think critically about values-based decisions, using the Six Pillars of Character:
Trustworthiness – honesty
Respect – follow the Golden Rule
Responsibility – be accountable for your choices
Fairness – listen to others
Caring – express gratitude
Citizenship – do your share to improve your community
